Create/Edit Alert Form

This form is used when creating and editing alerts.

  • Alert Name: This is a name of your alert. It must be at least 1 character long and no more than 200 characters long.
  • Alert Status: This controls whether or not the alert is enabled (on) or disabled (off). When the alert is disabled it won't ever run again until it's re-enabled.

Below that are several sections.

When

This section includes the following options:

  • The days this alert should run.
  • The time the alert should start running. The alert sound will play starting at this time and then continue based on the interval you define below in another section.
  • The time the alert should stop running. If the time is less than the start time, it'll stop the following day.

Alert

This section includes the following options:

  • The interval in which the alert should occur. The interval is recurring and will continue running until the end time has been reached or the alert is disabled.
  • The sound that should play every time the alert interval is reached. The default list of sounds are from your computer but you can also add your own.
  • The volume of the sound when it's played. With the slider all the way to the right, the sound will play at full volume. Slide the slider to left to reduce the loudness.

Reminder Alert

This section includes the following options:

  • The offset is the time difference before or after the interval. For example, if you specify the offset as -00:00:30, the reminder sound will play 30 seconds before the alert sound plays. Use the minus sign to indicate the reminder is before the alert. For the reminder sound to play after, you'd specify it as: 00:00:30.
  • The sound that should play every time the reminder offset is reached. The default list of sounds are from your computer but you can also add your own.
  • The volume of the sound when it's played. With the slider all the way to the right, the sound will play at full volume. Slide the slider to left to reduce the loudness.
